March 19, 2022 - Drinking beautifully now. Cellar temp, over a long dinner. Paired perfectly with smoked mackerel and trout.

Very rich texture, long glycerine finish. Touch of mint/spice on initial taste, with strong acidity to balance richness.

October 31, 2021 - Last vintage fully made by Didier. Excellent. Short of oily but definitely a dense and rich texture for Sauvignon. Fresh and clean, bright yellow fruit. Late night off the list, notes from memory.

50 + Kleur: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 11 + Smaak / Afdronk: 17 + Algemeen / potentieel: 8 = 91/100

Color: Medium straw yellow Aroma / bouquet: Dusty and fresh aroma, clear and pure, clear accents of flint, juicy limes and unripe pineapple. Taste / Aftertaste: Also in the mouth this fresh powerhouse shows itself tirelessly. Fresh and juicy with thirst quenching acidity, retronasal impressions of lime and flint. Long, pleasantly fresh aftertaste. General / potential: This is Sauvignon-Blanc at its best, a royal glass! 50 + Color: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 11 + Taste / Finish: 17 + General / potential: 8 = 91/100

September 7, 2019 - FROM MAGNUM: This was a very gracious contribution from my best man during the wedding weekend. The cork was saturated up 9/10 of the way and this seemed to be in a perfect place. The balance, elegance, and tension Didier could harness were all on display here. In a house that was half full of “I prefer reds” everyone was crooning over how lovely this was. The verve, balance, and elegance were front & center as we celebrated our weekend with those that mean so much to us. An epic wine!

50 + Kleur: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 11 + Smaak / Afdronk: 16 + Algemeen / potentieel: 8 = 90/100

    Google Translate:

Color: Pale golden yellow Aroma / bouquet: Magnificent aroma with notes of flint, ripe citrus fruit and unripe tropical fruit, ripe lime in combination with the acidity of unripe pineapple. Taste / Finish: Fresh acidity, juicy and concentrated, flint. Long finish with a soft acidity in the aftertaste. General / potential: A wine of 100% Sauvignon-Blanc rarely impresses me, but the wines of Daguenau never disappoint. 50 + Color: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 11 + Taste / Finish: 16 + General / potential: 8 = 90/100
