August 1, 2009 - 14.1% alcohol. Not showing any age in its color. Touch of funk on the nose, along with red and black cherry, along with attractive floral and spice notes. In the mouth, focused and pure, with a great sense of elegance. Fruit all the way initially on the palate, which shows a touch of dried cherry, along with excellent complexity. Bright acidity. Long finish . Excellent. A-

April 16, 2009 - 14.1% alcohol. Not showing age at all in the color, a pretty red. Very pretty nose of funk, black cherry, flowers, and minerals. In the mouth, surprisingly forward for a wine with this age on it. Big black cherry fruit, baking spice, a floral note, and strong acidity lead the way on the palate. Solid finish. June 9, 2008 - popped and poured at a BBQ, what soft and balanced fruit. The best way to describe this wine is elegant. Red berries on the palate, but done is a soft and understated style. Really liked this. Call this bottle a 90

January 28, 2008 - Popped and poured and had with Cheese and breads....Excellent Burgundy like Pinot, that was more elegant than powerful. It had some nice raspberry fruit on the palate mixed with some old world charm. Soft and mellow it is drinking well right now. Nice smooth finish. Great QPR and pretty tasty 89-90
