January 20, 2024 - Stadig nesten udrikkelig beist. Også dag 2, selv om den er litt mindre uvennlig. Mer som en ordinær bordeaux dag 4, men ingen spor av pomerol. Vent 1 år!

January 9, 2024 - Very pleasant at the moment, the nose is clearly fruit driven with some signs of aging. Black fruit, very ripe aromatic profile. The palate is admirable, great tannin quality, good volume and very enjoyable. Maybe a tad monolithic at this stage, complexity should increase with more aging (or not...)

December 25, 2023 - This was velvety, with blackberry, plums, some spice, some oak and vanilla, elegantly soft but present tannins. A truly delicious wine.

December 13, 2023 - Koenraad; start of a tradition? (Koenraad, Utrecht, NL): I often forget how I tend to under appreciate good (and mature) Bordeaux. This was in a great spot tonight. Plush, opulent but soft and velvety at the same time. Medium+ intensity with cherry, plum, black berry, ceder, well integrated oak. Medium+ acidity, medium+ tannins with a very long finish. 92-93

    June 30, 2023 - If I had a few, I would try my next bottle around 2028. 93 – 95+.

I may not be around in 2028.

I still prefer the left-bank. Cabernet Sauvignon (I like the tannin, although with global warming this is getting less and less. Chablis is the biggest sufferer. You might as well be drinking Aussie chardonnay.

    vide.

    Cheers,
