October 31, 2013 - Nose with citrus, in particular lime, a hint of palate mineral and slate-y petrol notes and some hints of perfume. Dry on the palate (despite 11.5% alcohol!) although it perhaps goes a little in the "feinherb" direction, with strong citrus/lime notes, some green apple, mineral and high acidity, plus a very fresh aftertaste. Very fresh and elegant, and initially comes across like a lightweight, but it has a lot of concentration and weight hidden behind its fresh acidity and minerality, and this emerges more after it has been opened for a while. Good now, with some complexity added by the age, but could take many more years of cellaring.
