May 27, 2018 - We were surprised. Worried that it was past its prime. But no - nice notes of black pepper and berries, very pleasant. A great accompaniment to the beef ribs we smoked in our Kalamazoo Kitchen smoker.

December 24, 2013 - Nice wine. Has developed into a soft, fruit forward wine that covers the palate pleasantly. Paired well with a spicy chicken dish and really played off the spice well. If there's one complaint it's that the finish seemed to lack omph tonight and seemed short, but the spicy dish may have changed our perspective somewhat.
Would buy again. -

January 4, 2013 - Nose starts out spicy and peppery. Almost Syrah like. Nice dark fruit and complexity too. Very promising.
Palate starts out smooth and silky but the pepper starts in on the mid-palate and continues on thru the long finish. There are definite dark fruit flavors and spice as well. Nice complexity, good acidity and balance.
Would buy again. -
