September 14, 2018 - A bit closed on first opening, but it opened up with some berry aromas. Its complex and full bodied, tannins have mellowed but the finish is quite short. Think is the best it will be.

February 2, 2014 - Now entering its drinking window with perhaps another 5 years at its peak, this is as good an effort as the former Halliday vineyard has managed with its Cabernet fruit. Berries, cassis and a touch of olive on the nose. The palate is smooth, delightfully long and full, dominated by ripe berry but note without interesting complexity. Already looking forward to opening another.

January 12, 2014 - Nose is very closed, with bare hints of raisin and alcohol. As the glass warms up, the nose begins reveal notes of blueberry and chocolate. The palate is smooth, with tight, dense flavour matched by lively acidity. Seems to have a lot going for it, but needs time to reveal its potential.
