August 26, 2012 - Dinner with Friends (Kapcsandy, Continuum, SQN, Droin, +) (Our Home): Pop and poured, this is in a nice spot. I don't think it improves, but certainly has a long life ahead. The nose has dried cherries, red currants, some warm hay, and a bit if an earthy streak. On the palate, this is dry. Slight raisined cherry and raspberries. Someone said it reminded them of the Prisoner (Orin Swift) and I can see that although I found this more restrained, complex and acidic. Went well with cheeses.

February 27, 2012 - Vinturi, followed by an hour-long decant. Thick, port-like and absolutely need food to counterbalance the intensity. (Spicy crawfish etouffee was ideal.) Raisins, prunes and still a good bit of oak. Really tasty.

April 3, 2010 - Wow!e Decanted for about 6 hours. The raisin and berry flavors overtake the mouth. Very full bodied with a very long finish. Don't drink this alone, it requires food.
