    February 19, 2024 - Good rich colour.
No bricking of which to speak.
I’m eager to agree w the note which suggested a few more years of viability. They were right.
It’s still reasonably tight with traditional Umbrian fruit on the initial palate. Very short well balanced finish. I have a few bottles remaining and will enjoy over the next year or two.
Specific notes after the wine warms from the cellar.

June 7, 2020 - not for me but it may be both bottles were oxidised to some extent - charmless bouquet, the wine was flat and lacking life - not rated

May 6, 2020 - Complex and not easily identified as a 'Bordeaux Blend.' Medium to full bodied, with tons of sediment. Loved it, and I'd say you have a few more years to drink with proper storage.

March 4, 2020 - Corked! Tried to deny it power through, but after a while we all gave up. Dead.

January 20, 2018 - Did not enjoy this as much as past bottles, but it probably suffered from being in a blind tasting with several other wines that were significantly more outgoing. Somewhat low acidity and sharp tannins projected a rather charmless personality, and a chalky mouthfeel didn't help. But there were some nice aspects to it; a very pleasant spicy/herbal note coupled with attractive oak, and subtle black fruit. Overall a very good wine suffering from being relatively disjoint in this particular situation. Lesson learned... save for a quiet dinner instead of a tasting.
