  June 9, 2023 - Deep ruby with just a slight hint of age at the rim
  Moderate dense crust and sediment
  Some light cherry aromas
  This has certainly lost its youthful exuberance since last tasted in 2012. While still having a lot of enjoyable cherry red currant flavors, the fruit is starting to fade leaving it a bit more clunky and mulberry bitter tannins. Fading, I’d drink sooner rather than later. This particular bottle didn’t have the balance to age more gracefully

  October 16, 2022 - Wow this smells great.
  Concentrated cassis and a subtle touch of vanilla
  On the palate this is med+ body, med acid, and med tannin. Superbly balanced.
  From magnum, and hardly showing its years, this wine is in the zone. Stunningly pure.
  Easily 10+ years left of prime enjoyment.

  December 25, 2021 - Nose of currants, black fruits- blackberry, black cherry, and some blue fruits. Also sweet oak and bramble. Forward fruit with well integrated tannins, nice structure and a sweet oak / creamy mouthfeel. Still some heat on the back (14.7%) w/ tannic grip Fantastic with a steak.
