Community Tasting Notes 3

April 12, 2010 - Great qpr on this summer sipper. $10!

November 29, 2009 - Popped for Thanksgiving apertif and those who wanted white with dinner. Not bad on the nose with some interesting floral notes from the Viognier. Good body on the palate from that as well. A little high on the acid to drink without some richer food (much better with the meal than before in my opinion - but that's based on a quick tasting). No much on the finish. I'd agree with the other comment that it's fine for a quaffer, but not too serious. I'd probably pay a little extra than the $9 I paid for this and drink something with more finish and finesse.

May 6, 2009 - Leaner and more simple than the 07. Not much on the nose, but soft lemon and pear flavors. It is still a refreshing glass of wine and the acidity worked well with the spicy carne asada we had for dinner. Great little summer quaffer.
