December 27, 2016 - Tuesday Night Double Blind <$40 (Alpharetta, GA): Dark maroon core with lighter rim; chocolate, oak, cedar, plum, dark cherry, smoke, char; some grain to the tannin, plush, modern, voluptuous, plummy, soft and sexy, lower acid; surprised how fresh this was for its age though M-M's wines tend to do that.

December 25, 2015 - Plums and cherries on the nose that fade into dry leaves and cocoa. Dark fruit again on the palate, green peppers (hello Cab Franc!), tarragon and thyme.
