April 26, 2024 - WS Grand Tour (Walkaround Tasting) (New Orleans): My last wine of the tasting and probably bad timing after the Fonseca because this could not possibly compare.
But taken on its own, stewed black Christmas fruits and spices, a touch of licorice and something dirt like that threw me off. I think this will be better with time in bottle. -

March 6, 2024 - During a MOT walkabout tasting, no detailed notes. Same a s the 1997 next to it, lovely aromas of dark and red fruit with tobacco but not overly complex vs the Tawny Ports next to it.
