February 28, 2022 - Still alive after all those years. Drinking well, and getting a tiny bit tired. Tastes good.

September 5, 2016 - Old and tired. Cork in good shape, some fading toward Brick brown. However, no nose, smooth gentle palate that seemed lifeless. Had a 2007 alongside that showed some life in comparison. This could be a dull phase, but you might be waiting a long while before anything interesting develops.

December 26, 2014 - Lovely, mature Chateauneuf du Pape in a refined subtle style. Spicy, underbrush, dried red fruit. Drinking perfectly now like so many other 1994s.

May 4, 2014 - Still good on opening and first pour, but declined rapidly in the glass. Past its best. Do not decant - it will accelerate the oxidisation. Best shared and drunk quickly, rather than drunk over an evening

September 25, 2011 - See-through Garnet with medium-high legs/tearing/viscocity. Red currant/Strawberry aroma with a tingle of forest and muskiness coming through. Red Currants and medium acidity with a prevalency of light tannins. Bottle with crystalized sediments. The wine will drink for an additional 10 years, minimum -still enough backbone to last it through to 2021
