November 12, 2009 - Sotheby's pre-auction tasting: very pleasant. forgot to take notes, which usually is a good thing.

May 11, 2009 - Tasted at Jack's Luxury Oyster Bar, NYC. Absolutely gorgeous, perfectly aged wine with a wonderful smooth and silky texture. Soft and complex on the finish with notes of violets and minerals. Has that ethereal quality I usually only find in aged Bordeaux and this wine drinks like a cross between a Bordeaux and CDP. Just glides over the tongue like the softest cashmere. What a treat and a great surprise.
