  June 2, 2023 - Gently but quickly double decanted off its sediment and served at dinner with IW and our wives about 15 hours (yes) later. Kept in our wine bag with a couple of ice packs while we traveled, this was served above cellar temp, but still very cool compared to room temp. We were well-rewarded for the treatment we gave this bottle. In a word- Gorgeous.
  
  Plum, cedar and an abundance of floral elements. Plush and velvety though has just a bit of soft tannin that remains. Mixed red and black fruit flavors carry through the finish. Sandalwood and subtle spice nuances as well.

  Dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of Kirsch, black pepper, cassis, plum and wet stones. Flavors of cassis, plums, boysenberries and raspberries. Medium acidity, resolved tannin, full bodied. Drink over the short term. Perhaps into the medium term but I'd go short term.

  December 25, 2022 - Medium+ body, slightly brown at the edges. Lovely balance, fairly fruity still (red fruit), spicy (nutmeg, bay leaf, cloves). Plums, licorice, anise, hints of tobacco and leather. Gradually aging. I would drink it now.

  Nice open red fruits medium to full bodied. Slightly astringent finish. Quite a full mouthfeel. Red fruits. Drink now, going down hill.

  September 14, 2022 - 醒酒三小时，浑浊的宝石红色，闻香有梅果，李子，紫罗兰，和胭脂香料的味道，还有一股肉鲜和奶香，入口酸度超高，酒液咸，收口微甜，单宁紧涩，有些糊嘴，但颗粒细腻到感觉不到，李子和话梅的果香，一些泥土气息，仔细品鉴还有淡淡百里香一类地中海香料的味道，酒的结构非常漂亮，余味是悠长的梅果，和贯穿始终的橡木桶充分融合的胭脂香料。酒在口中持续不断地输出，香气延绵不绝，没有停歇，没有上限。巅峰适饮期的一支酒，表现成熟，香气复杂，婉转多变，保存状态也是一流，没有丝毫的氧化感，今天它拿出了最佳表现。
