August 11, 2006 - July Wine Tasting, 17 wines, Crystal Lake, IL (NW Suburbs Chicago, Crystal Lake, IL): This is the third bottle from our case and it truly is a great zin. Perfect balance, lots of complexity and tons of personality, this is one of my favorite Zins. Tied with a higher priced cab as WOTN.

April 30, 2006 - Joel Gott Wine Dinner - NW Chicago Suburbs (Bistro Kirkou, Lake Zurich, IL): Phoenomenal ZIN. This is the signature wine from Sarah Gott. Single vineyard effort from 50 year old vines from Dillian Ranch, an Armador County vineyard. This is classic old vine zin - deep purple color, with aromas of black fruit, spice and black pepper. Raspberry, blackberry, and black pepper fill the mouth with structured tannins delivering a long, tasty finish. Each time you empty your glass, you crave more.

February 25, 2006 - Had at wine tasting. Excellen Zin. Very complex. Lots of deep red fruit, oak and pepper in the mouth. Long finish.
