May 13, 2020 - Interesting Amarone parallels; smooth, little tannins; short finish, nice nose and excellent fruit.

January 14, 2016 - An Australian "amarone" made of dried grapes. Aired in the decanter for one hour. Rather pleasant nose of mint and ripe dark fruit. Medium to full bodied, quite smooth and supple, delivering loads of ripe sweet dark fruit with a distinct minty flavor. Almost a bit jammy with very smooth tannins and a short finish. No heat coming through despite of the 15% alcohol. Still very youthful. A decent and solid red aussie but it isn´t really that different from many aussie reds you can get for 10-15€. Paying almost 60€ for this you expect more.
