February 23, 2013 - This sees some Allier, which I normally don't like in my Rosso. But here I can't say I even would've noticed it if I didn't know it was there. Sure, there's some spice, but no coffee and no dark chocolat tannins. This is as a Rosso should be, light on it's feet, lovely red fruit (cherries intertwined with cranberries and red currant), sage, a herbal touch and an acidity that is just so good with food. This is a wine to drink and enjoy - both with or without food. Excellent.
