December 26, 2015 - Cork like concrete, very difficult to open. Upper shoulder. Good and healthy colour. Lovely and elegant boquet evolving. Almost plummy. Acidity showing, but surprisingly good for a 70 years old wine.

September 7, 2012 - Østkantsmaking: Tett, dyp mørk farge, nesten mot svart. Svak bruning av kanten. På nese, paprika, jord og søte bær. Bløt inngang. Noe smal frukt med et ”brunt” preg. Noe tanniner igjen. Noe kort.

September 7, 2012 - Seven Decades of Right Bank Wines (Trondheim, Norway (my house)): Mid/high shoulder fill. Very dark, browning brim, dark core; a lot of forest floor and rotting logs, a whiff of sweetness, sweet pipe tobacco; wonderful first part of the taste curve, but clips off prematurely into a much thinner sweetish albeit long aftertaste, decent acidity.
