  May 7, 2019 - Menthol bomb with some volatile acidity on the finish- a bit varnish-y. Full bodied, oaky, and boozy. Pretty meh. It's just- whew, a spicy, hot mess of jammy fruits with no balance. Seems like party wine that's aged too long.

  February 1, 2014 - Among about 20 bottles at a party, this was my favorite. All kinds of spices and minerals. Plenty of black and blue fruit. Terrific finish. Still fairly tannic, but very well balanced. Probably has another two or three years left (wish I had more).

  May 21, 2013 - The wine looks Inky colored. The legs are Medium. It smells like Blackberry, and Cherry. It tastes like Cherry, Toast, and Vanilla. The body is Full. The wine has Silky texture. The wine finishes Long.
  Great taste. Smooth and favorful.

  April 13, 2013 - Black and blue fruit, with a little smoke and interesting minerality. Mouthfilling fruit, nice body, and a very good finish. Nicely balanced, but still quite tannic. I have one left, and I'll probably wait until 2015.
