September 8, 2023 - Part of a 2008 to 2010 red wine dinner with my wine group, this might have been the group favorite. Opened, but not decanted for over 45 minutes before pouring. Nicely balanced with no one element standing out. Medium bodied, with a medium+ length finish.

April 14, 2023 - This was ok, big minus for midpalate, where it kind of vanished after a powerful entry. It was simply an unbalanced experience, with power and promise on nose and entry but then fell short.

March 24, 2023 - Still very young and liveley. Fresh black current, acid and smooth tannins still with a grip. Well structured with good balance.

January 22, 2023 - 2008 was a good but not great vintage with a perfect fall and low yields.
The wine is clear, deep bulls blood in the glass with heavy sediment.
The nose jumps from the glass with juicy red berries, earth, cola and smoked meat. More elegant than expected from a Cabernet dominant wine.
Lovely palate. Balanced and integrated with fine tannins.
Flavours of earth and cedar with just a hint of fruit.
