Community Tasting Notes 12

September 3, 2011 - Tart peach and pear. Minerality and earthiness on the finish, almost tastes like it was oaked a little. Good acidity.

May 9, 2011 - Overripe cantaloupe and peaches. The nose opened up a little after some time in the glass, but not as floral as I expect from viognier. Could have done with a little more acidity.

March 12, 2011 - Very nice for the price.

February 12, 2011 - Cantaloupe, ginger. Crisp acidity and hint of minerality on the finish. This fulfills the saying that this is the red wine of white wines. Excellent with marinated salmon.

November 8, 2010 - Tasted at room temperature after decanting about 3 hours. There wasn't a lot on the nose. It was quite floral and did have a little citrus and melon fruit. The palate was a little better, though a bit thin and hollow in the mid=palate. The citrus and tropical fruit was good, but it had a little less acid than I would have liked. The finish had some nice floral flavors, which I did like
