December 25, 2012 - Screwcap. A very light, pale, clear red. Pretty, lithe nose of strawberry, flowers, and gingerbread. Pretty on the palate as well, but gets a bit aggressive as the fruit has faded back a bit. Full bodied and still structured well. Nice finish with slight hint of heat. Overall i think drinking quite well.
May 24, 2012 - Monthly Tasting Group LTB 2012-06; Germany, Pfalz (By MM): Red forest fruits in the bouquet as well as the mouth. Some spiciness and minerals. Mild acidity and soft tannin. Fairly basic, but well made wine.
February 27, 2012 - Light red color, a bit of strawberry in the nose, nothing very special
August 20, 2011 - Screwcap. Very light red with orange and brown flecks. Pretty nose with lots of complexity - earth, mushroom, strawberry, rhubarb, cherry. Med-full bodied with a graphite note emerging on the palate.
April 7, 2011 - Monthly tasting club LTC; Germany; Pfalz (My first invitation for this group) (@ MM): Clearly a Spätburgunder bouquet with strawberries and some earthy impressions. Same on the palate with some other red forest fruits and minerals. Easy drinking and friendly wine. Completely ready; no real hurry.
January 27, 2010 - Blind tasting
Ruby red
Aroma: Fresh raspberries, lemon and cress, and slightly butterish
Medium body, good acidity and very good structure. Caramel, creme brule and barn on the palate
Very good length with some bitterness
July 28, 2009 - Screwcap. A dull, light and faint red in the glass. Opens with a forward nose of strawberries, a hint of earth, and some high toned cherry fruit. Tastes much like it smells with cola, earth, and cherries carried on a light body. Also a bit of tart cranberry fruit as well came thru. Nice, lengthy finish. Tasty pinot, good buy, and very food friendly.
