July 16, 2009 - Wow. What a great little wine. The dominant note is tart acidity, but there is enough fruit and ripeness to provide great balance. Definitely Loire-like in character - I'd liken it to a very good, but light-bodied, Sancerre. Had this with my favorite summer meal of fresh farmers market salad and fresh goat cheese, and it sang beautifully (although I'll confess that I've also loved polar-opposite superripe Cali Chards with this meal - perhaps the salad is so good it makes any wine shine!).

July 6, 2009 - great acidity. intense minerals, lime and lemon. Like muscadet on steroids. This is like being in a alpine environment when the snows are just receding and the first spring flowers are bursting forth.
