October 23, 2023 - Asperg Wine Syndrome Tasting Group: Birthday gleaning #2 (@Private location, Stuttgart): Glass: Riedel Vinum Bordeaux
Tasted blind. Clear, pale golden color. Clean, fine any youthful nose with some fine herbs and hints of cassis.
On the palate creamy, seemed more like a Spätlese, 8% abv, racy acidity, lots of cassis and elder, fine sweet fruit, good balance and length. Potential for at least another decade. 89 -
