February 28, 2015 - What a beautiful wine, and no way did this seem like an Auslese, with reserved sugar (Spatlese?), plenty of acid, amazing minerality, and rich, ripe, juicy stone fruit. Yum!

After a spaetlese, this did not seem to be sweeter, in fact less sweet, perhaps.
It should have been given more attention, but what struck me as peculiar was a tea-leaf note and its evident minerality. I liked it, but will need to revisit it to really understand it.
