December 14, 2020 - Deep dark red color. Light no’s consisting of cocoa, coffee, mushrooms and toast. Soft tannins and the acidity is in aligned. Mouthfeel is good layers of mint, toast, blackberries and cherry soda.

October 19, 2020 - This is an enjoyable wine with a good QPR. The nose consists of cocoa, cedar, ripe figs and pencil lead. It's not a very complex wine. The tannins are very smooth and lacks the punch of acidity. The palate has layers of blueberries, cassis, peppercorns, mint and licorice. The mouthfeel is nice but the finish is short.

October 19, 2019 - Very dark inky hue. Oak, dark berry/over ripe fruit. Smooth, easy to drink, dark fruit. Jammy front end. Not overly spicy. Drink up past prime.

June 15, 2019 - Aromas of mocha, cassis, blackberry, and white pepper continue to swirl around, not all at once but with each sniff something else is revealed ... the acidity proves to be good and balanced without getting in the way ... on the palate there's dark berry fruit and plenty of spice; about an hour in there appears to be a good balance here, but the spice just might be getting in the way a bit. Another 40 minutes pass and that spice has settle down allowing a more balanced note of spiced-blueberry to take over on the finish.

October 3, 2017 - Very dark inky hue. Oak and dark berry/fruity nose. Smooth, easy to drink, dark fruit, non-traditional malbec (from my perspective). Not overly spicy. Nice surprise.
