February 14, 2024 - 2004 was a very good year in Piedmont, as proven by this 2004 Barolo. Still fresh and in good shape, that keep the tertiary flavors in control. Much better preserved than it’s 2005 sibling.

December 4, 2016 - Wow! Amazed by the spice box flavors.

August 29, 2016 - Pnp. Not a lot going on. Rustic. Just OK. Don't see any reason to think it's getting better. On the other hand, not much reason to drink it now, either.

June 26, 2013 - Old style Barolo, leathery, a bit astringent, very herbaceous. Wish I had more of this vintage.

May 4, 2010 - Very nice and structured--elegant and well-made. The other notes capture this well, but I should add that I found the tannins to be quite drying (as opposed to just firm or present) on the finish. I'll give my other bottle five years or so. Good QPR. 91+
