November 6, 2020 - Still steeping in fresh fruit, though the nose immediately reveals its age. I was proud and quite surprised that--handed this red wine blind--I guessed a Burgundy and then an ‘02 Nuits. You gotta get lucky sometimes! Very nice extract, beautiful tertiaries and a years of life ahead. With a two hour decant this is fully in it’s window now - 2025.
