August 26, 2022 - Still drinking well. Black cherries, black currants, and floral notes in the nose. Lots of rich, concentrated black fruits, chocolate, and coffee in the flavor with hints of spice and herbalness. Well balanced, medium to full bodied and a medium to long finish.

March 25, 2022 - A dark ruby, near purple color. Nice complex nose of ripe red plum, leather, black pepper, and tobacco. Blueberry and tobacco on the palate. Acid and tannin hold it together beautifully. Decently long finish.
