February 5, 2017 - Tasted blind. Purple appearance. Nose of ink and funk and spice. First thought was a Petit Verdot (which I believe it has in small amounts). On the tongue, steel, salt, lactic acid. Weird. Lot and lots of tannin. Couldn't pick it as a Super Tuscan. Don't think I'd purchase. Needs more time (or maybe less... It's definitely in an awkward stage)
