May 6, 2010 - Drank the the '06 Jarvis Petit Verdot alongside a '06 Petit Verdot from Virginia's Blenheim. Both had good nose and drank quite well -- lot of dark, dried fruits. The Blenheim kind of faded away in the mid-pallett where the Jarvis had a nice long finish. A hour and a half in, the Jarvis had really opened up whereas the Blenheim was pretty much the same. Great showing from both wines, Thomas Jefferson would be proud.
