Community Tasting Notes 2

  • WimHH Likes this wine: 90 points

January 7, 2015 - Eye: opaque dark bordeaux with a red to purple rim
    Nose: leather, wood, roses, complex
Palate: 1st day strong leather, 2nd day less obvious, little more acidity, good tannins, well integrated
Medium to full body, mouthfilling and with long aftertaste. Well made, but needs a bit more expression.

May 13, 2011 - This C9duP is made of 80% Grenache and 20% Mourvedre. The result is a full bodied wine in which the Mourvedre is clearly giving the wine extra character. The wine has black as well as red forest fruits, pleasant spiciness and soft tannin which also give the wine a pleasant bite.
