May 14, 2015 - This bottle of wine was probably past its prime. When first tasted, there was very nice Asian spice coating the fruit. With more air time, the spice went a little off kilter and tended to express some oxidation. Throughout the tasting it still showed quite well, overall. It was the 3rd place wine in the CA Zin tasting. Too bad Neyer still does not use this vineyard for making more of this Zin, as I would like to try one that is a little younger.

September 30, 2013 - Terrific zin fruit without being over the top. Showing some oxidized notes. Not sure if thats intentional or just the bottle.
