July 7, 2023 - 16yo and still shows a deep and dark robe. Nose is explosive like a bomb! There is a lot going on: blackberry, black currant liquor, blueberry, sweet tobacco leather and baking spice. Mouth is as explosive as the nose. It’s fruity but not jammy, very clean and complex. Mouth confirms nose with additional notes vanilla, cedar box, licorice and graphite. Very long finish, huge wine

December 31, 2019 - The Beckstoffer to Kalon region always delivers some of the best fruit forward complex Napa cabs...this Realm is no exception. Terrific dark, blackberry fruit that is concentrated, structured even after 12 years in the bottle. Absolutely needs an hour plus decant and it opens to cassis, dark chocolate and a touch of licorice on the finish. Absolutely delicious and sadly, my last bottle of this vintage.

April 25, 2018 - Beautifully aged with plenty of life left. Reddish fruit notes with chocolate, mocha. Long balanced finish with liquid velvet mouthfeel. Fruit and flowers on the fragrant nose.

October 8, 2017 - Needed some air but was solid and tons of life left in it. This will be drinking well into the next decade but sadly this was my last bottle.
