January 28, 2016 - Was worried that it had sat too long, but thought it was still very good. Drank over 2 nights, and by night 2 it was smooth and lovely. Lots of fruit and chocolate. Great wine

December 8, 2015 - Crimson in color. 16.3% ABV. Big nose of red and blue fruits, briar and white pepper. Unctuous and mouth coating on the palate. Full bodied with enough acidity to keep everything in balance. Flavors of raspberry liqueur, blueberry syrup and pepper. Everything about this wine is big and just on the verge of being over the top. Drink in the near term.

September 23, 2015 - Very well balanced and refined for a Zin. Hits all the right notes. Nice spice and zinging berries. There is good depth and concentration, with coating tannins. This is in a perfect spot right now.

November 24, 2014 - What a zin is suppose to be! After an hour of decant to let tht funk blow off, I got rich flavors of red and blue berries, earth, peppercorn, mushroom, eucalyptus. Medium body with medium plus finish. Drinking well now but not sure if it'll hold for many more months
