July 11, 2021 - Many cases later I can say this is a lovely, classic , mature claret of no great pretensions. Plenty of fruit left on the nose and palate, and some complexity of the terroir as well. Sorry to see this easy drinking wine go.

January 16, 2021 - Dark brick color. Green and unripe aromas with blackcurrant bush, cowberies, crawling and some leather. A bit tart and astringent with a slight bitterness in the finish. Good acidity.

May 6, 2020 - Fabulous QPR on a classic, aged claret, a bit past perfect maturity, with the fruit fading but still plenty of authentic, if austere, Bordeaux complexity. I loved my four cases of this, and wish I had one more.
