August 28, 2020 - This has certainly evolved, putting on weight and moving towards stone fruit and longer finish. Wasn't sure what to expect, considering the age, and was a pleasant surprise!

July 13, 2014 - My last bottle of this--still great but I recommend you drink up. Not getting any better but a bit more linear than I recalled from the earlier ones. Yes, it is starting to fade I am afraid. Beautiful Chicago summer wine with dinner on the patio.

March 27, 2014 - Medium straw. Firm, resonant, and stony notes of lychees, white nectarine, guava, minerals and touches of cream and sage. Has an element of smoke and a long stonefruit pit finish. Lacks the punch of other vintages but still enjoyable.

February 2, 2014 - Maybe it was the food, but this wine drank spectacularly tonight. Great fruit and acidity. Perfect balance. Delicious. I know i rated it much lower previously; human after all.

July 20, 2013 - I love Fume Blanc. This is one of my favorites. Clean, crisp, citrus with a bit of a floral nose. Well balanced but just a bit acidic--no surprise for a Fume. Wonderful finish that hangs on and melds nicely with the Brie and crackers. I do not understand why some don't care for it. I'm guessing they just don't like the very dry Fume style.
