High alcohol. Not my favorite style anymore but tasted pretty good with a grilled veal rib chop.

  September 3, 2019 - Wow has this wine improved with cellar time. The nose consists of black peppercorns, mint, cedar and toast. Very soft layers of dried figs, toast, bing cherries, mint and toast. Nicely integrated tannins and acidity with a long finish and wonderful mouthfeel.

  May 6, 2019 - Extracted the soft cork with a DeVine opener and it still broke in half then decanted to find absolutely no sediment. The color is a sexy black ruby and looks fantastic. The nose has earthy, cedary, dark fruit focus with hedonistic extracted ripe Cabernet underpinnings. The palate is rich and luscious with plum and blackberry fruit and notes of sweet tobacco, dark chocolate baking spice. In great shape and could age for 5 more years.
