January 31, 2023 - This wine is still surprising rich. Strong tannins (no surprise from this producer) but maintaining flavors of licorice, blackberry, and some tartness.
Probably has a couple more years left. -

April 18, 2019 - I’m not getting the alcohol mentioned in ‘16 reviews. Wine is well balanced. Lively and bright with smooth tannin. Berries are there, but fading to a little spice. Drink em if you’ve got em.

October 15, 2016 - Zachys Wine Vault II (Le Bernadin Prive): Our last of 10 of these. Did not take detailed notes as this was later in a long day of drinking. Did enjoy this as always. I think it's still going (CT window has 2016 - but it has more years in it), but would say that the extra years haven't changed the wine much.

October 1, 2016 - Brought to a birthday dinner for my husband. It's interesting - this wine hasn't really changed all that much over the last 4 years or so that we've been drinking it. If anything, it's maybe fading more than I'd have hoped. I associate it with very deep red berries. Smooth. Showed ok that night, but not as good as some other times.

January 15, 2016 - Getting a lot of bottle variation in these. We drank one from the same set about a week ago and it was highly alcoholic and even a bit offputting. This was in a completely different place. Great fruit and spice. Interesting because there really wasn't a lot of evolution from a few years ago.
