April 9, 2007 - A bit too floral. Ruby coloring, but clear. I could easily see through to the bottom of the glass. Cherry and strawberry in the nose and through the mid-palate. Came across as very "new world" in my opinion, no mineral or earthiness like you might find in a French Burgundy. Very easy to drink, and would match well with most lighter meals. Enjoyable.

November 23, 2006 - Served on T-day. Much more elegant than the Row Eleven. Some notes of strawberry, but a lot of earth, mineral and tar. Some barnyard on the finish... very enjoyable. 88-90 points.

August 9, 2006 - Kobe Beef, Foie Gras and Truffled Mayo Burgers at S&S (Chicago, IL): Deep ruby red color with a straight forward nose of cherries. Palate has forward fruit dominated by cherries and cola. Medium bodied and an easy drinker.
