July 21, 2012 - Dark fruit, somewhat animal, with hints of cabernet sauvignon. Full bodied with big tannins, fresh acidity and more than enough extract to balance. 14,5% but no heat. Still on its way up, this will cruise for several years. Had with grilled burgers, a perfect match for Barricadiero.

July 1, 2011 - Nice earthy development on the nose - we're grateful it's not towards coke like so many tuscans. Really powerful and dense on the palate. Still on it's way up. Goes perfectly with sirloin steak on the grill.

July 13, 2009 - Red hue with a blue tint. Dark, almost opaque. Youg, fruity bouquet, with a luring sense of a sleeping giant. Fullbodied with good tannins and a long aftertaste. Good now and the next three years.
