September 28, 2009 - Overly sweet, with a nod to an essence of cough syrup. Like hot sweet breakfast syrup. Lacking in balance, structure, acidity and just about anything redeemable.

June 24, 2009 - QPR of the year so far, for me. Still very young and a touch out of balance as a result, but that doesn't stop the incredible character of this wine from showing. It's a bit hot on the nose at the moment, but shows vividly revealing tannins on the palate that lead to an impressive lingering finish. Dark cherry and dusty chocolate - typical Walla Walla valley cab. Does benefit from an hour or so in the decanter. I think this will be even better in a few months.
