August 18, 2018 - Prune, clove, violet, herbes de Provence, asphalt. Full bodied, low acid with a tarry finish that shows some alcohol imbalance. It did manage to drink into its third day due to an abundance of overripe fruit. Might best be described as a Cali cab drinker's pinot. Tastes "expensive" even if it's not my style. Add 1-2 points if it were. Though, admittedly, I am looking forward to having the wine with heartier fare when the weather cools down. Drink now to 2022.

January 26, 2015 - Great wine. Really enjoyed. In its prime.

October 19, 2014 - this is drinking well right now ... it is just not the same depth and complexity of the DG from Freestone. This was probably people's favorite between Drew Gatekeeper, Drew McDougall and the PH Freestone.

November 17, 2013 - Excellent savory Pinot, tart cherry notes.

    November 23, 2012 - Hasn't aged well - hot, oaky, ripe cola.
