    January 6, 2019 - No formal note
Single piece cork, minimal soak, no seepage.

Slightly muted nose, which didn’t really evolve much after coming to room temperature. Cherry, some earthiness. No oak perceived.

Simple flavours followed through on palate, very good balance between fruit and acidity. Despite vintage, this was well made. The flavours remain simple and secondary. this is certainly not a bottle that will blossom considerably by holding much longer, though it has enough balance to be nice now or up to 2024 in a cool cellar.

    Drink or hold to 2024

December 24, 2013 - I have to like this bottle because it is completely different and so much better than the first bottle!
Bottle opened up like a classic Chambolle. Was concerned that I will be drinking this for the pleasure of chugging down alcohol (it is christmas eve after all(, but was treated to a pleasant surprise!
Slightly too acidic the nose is beautiful albeit straight forward.

December 11, 2013 - I usually have great time with Bruno Clair labels, but this particular bottle was very disappointing.
It was linear bottling offering muted scent unlike other fine Chambolles and it did not open up at all after couple of hours.
It reminded me of his '02 Clos St. Jacques, but did not open up to a beauty like his Gevery 1er cru.
After tasting the second bottle, I must say this bottle was flawed.
