August 24, 2017 - Quite meaty. Excellent wine. Each bottle pretty consistent impression.

December 26, 2016 - Complex oddity. At first the brett seems too much, but after a day or two after opening (in half bottle, filled to the top) the wine has fattened. Complex, interesting. I imagine this wine will offend as many people as it captivates. I look forward to seeing what I think about the next bottle.

12.5%ABV (yes that's what the label says). Sealed with cork.

May 14, 2009 - Northern Rhone Visit, May 2009; 5/14/2009-5/17/2009 (Condrieu, Ampuis, Cornas, Tain -- France): Tasted at the Domaine in Condrieu with Paul, the affable husband of Mme Vernay. "Decent for '07" says Paul, definitely tight and tannic, not a huge pleasure today. Lots of the heady, peppery Rhone-ness is there tho. Palate takes your tongue off tho, haha!
