Popped and poured. Initially pretty Burgundian but after it was open for a bit more of the oak started to come out. A nice chardonnay that I pair $30 for. -

October 20, 2003 - i never see this winery mentioned on the board, and yet, it is an outstanding producer of reasonably priced chard, pinot, and cab. this chardonnay is a clear winner, and a favorite of the household. kistler should be so good. mild, unobtrusive oak. pear notes with nicely balanced acidity. rich and full bodied. at it's peak. check out the cuvee alyce as well.
