July 18, 2015 - Very lively color - slightly browning dark red. Some red fruit, iron and dulce de lece on the nose. Starts out like a very old school Bordeaux - a lot of tobacco and pencil shavings on the palate. With air more fruit comes out - plums and cassis. Long, with still lively acidity and resolved, but ever present tannic backbone. Pleasure to drink - should easily last another decade.
