December 3, 2005 - Amber hue. Nice nose with orange peel, nutmeg and a meady scent. Very thick on the palate, but good acidity and fruit. Slightly thick finish, good persistence and notes of orange preserve. Enjoyable and great with cheeses, a bit one-dimensional over time. Both of us did have somewhat of a reaction to it though with mild flushing - sulfur?
