September 9, 2010 - Cheap CA wine with raisiny, pruny nose. Plenty of fruit. Simple. Opened the Nuits St Georges Daniel Rion after this, and could see the profound difference in quality that a more upscale Pinot Noir makes. This wine is perfectly acceptable for a price, but a wine I'd tire of very quickly. Seemed to be OK as a marinade for antelope hamburger. Marinade gave the antelope meal richness, but better to use another wine for drinking.

June 10, 2010 - Nothing special, but nothing terrible, but what do you want for $15. Light and monolithic with slight tartness on the finish.

March 24, 2010 - Very solid Pinot at the sub$20 price point. Actually compared favorably to the Bookster and Au Bon at $20+. Would buy again if i were not drowning in pinots at the moment
